Timelapsed Pyromusical display
This video is composed of timelapsed images from the pyromusical last February 28, 2009. It was taken using a Canon EOS 400D camera with the kit lens (EF-S 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 II). Yes, the 400D doesn't have HD video recording like the newer camera's of Canon but it can still capture HiDef images.

The Titanic Treat Challenge
Say hi to the "Titanic Treat" everyone. The challenge is to finish the titanic in 5minutes or less. If the challenge is completed within 5mins, you get the titanic for free. Otherwise, you'll have to pay P950++ for it. Sounds easy? Right.
Waiting for the Fireworks
Watching fireworks at Mall of Asia is a challenge. Based on the posters and fliers, the event starts at 7pm. This doesn't mean that you can walk in there and setup a few minutes before the show starts. Roads gets closed as early as 4pm. Finding an ideal spot is easy but finding an unoccupied ideal spot is difficult. Watchers camp to the baywalk as early as 3pm to get the best seats on the seawall.

Playing with low light and slow shutter
The ambient light inside the hall was okay as we were able to bounce our lights off the white walls and ceiling. However, it was totally different outside since we cannot bounce anymore. Direct flash is too harsh but it seemed like it was the only way to shoot. We relied heavily on our flashes and pumped up the ISO to capture images. Good thing we found an available light outside so we get to play with it a bit.
The results of that can be seen here.

Patricia Pacheco's 18th Bday
Patricia Pacheco's 18th Birthday
Patricia celebrated her 18th birthday last February 13, 2010. It was a big celebration. It wasn't like a traditional debut. There was no coutillon and the familiar waltz tune wasn't played. But there were dance performances from the celebrant and her friends.
